Guidelines for becoming a helpfinder Local Area Directory Associate or employee.

All Independent Directory Associates (IDA) MUST adhere to the following helpfinder guidelines.  Failure to do so may result in immediate disassociation between the an IDA, and termination of association or employment of any company associate, including future compensation.  helpfinder reserves the right to determine with whom the helpfinder name will be associated (ie. IDA's, company associates (includes employees) and listing customers).

helpfinder IDA's, and other individuals associated with helpfinder are subject to background checks and drug testing, prior to, and during, their helpfinder association.  helpfinder does not associate, or conduct business with convicted felons or with individuals who knowingly break the law.

For the purposes of these guidelines it is understood that when referring to the term IDA, this term applies to Independent Directory Associates, and all individuals with the helpfinder company...with no exceptions.

All IDA's are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and in a professional manner.

All IDA's  are expected to present a professional image and govern their actions, including associations, in a manner which brings dignity and respect to themselves and helpfinder.  Failure to meet the standards as described herein are subject to disassociation and the loss of all rights as an IDA, including future compensation.

Conduct - IDAs, and other associates are to conduct themselves with dignity, honesty and integrity.  It is expected that IDAs, and other associates will not conduct themselves in a manner which would bring anything but honor to themselves and helpfinder.  IDAs, Franchisees and other associates are expected to conduct all of their affairs and action so as to be within the law, while demonstrating dignity and decorum.  IDAs and other associates are to treat others with dignity and respect, as they would expect to be treated themselves.

Professionalism - IDAs are expected to be professionals; in actions, communications, appearance and association.  IDAs are expected to be well versed in the helpfinder offerings and how they benefit our customers and the community.  IDAs are to refrain from using vulgarities and profanity at all times.  IDAs are expected to treat everyone they meet with courtesy, respect and honesty.

Image - IDAs, and others associated with helpfinder are expected to present a professional image, in both appearance and conduct.  You should always dress appropriately when representing helpfinder.  Here are some helpfinder NO-NOs'.

  • Grooming - IDAs, and others helpfinder associates shall present a neat and well groomed appearance when conducting business.  It is expected that IDAs and other helpfinder associates will present a professional appearance when meeting the public. Being un-groomed, presenting and un-kept appearance, or presenting an offensive odor is not acceptable.
  • T-shirts - never when conducting business.  However, helpfinder does advertise with helpfinder t-shirts for any non-business occasions when helpfinder business is not being conducted.  T-shirts should not be worn when meeting the public as a helpfinder agent.
  • Levi's or blue-jeans - never when conducting business or meeting the public as a helpfinder agent.
  • Tennis Shoes, sneakers and other athletic foot apparel - never when conducting business or meeting the public as a helpfinder agent.

Actions - IDAs will be held accountable for their actions, and should conduct themselves as model citizens at all times.  IDAs shall not knowingly commit unlawful acts or participate in deviant activities with or upon others.  Any type of gang activities are strictly prohibited.

IDAs are expected to participate in networking, join organizations and affiliate themselves with individuals, groups and organizations that promote helping others and the general well being of the community.

Associations - IDA are encouraged to create associations and network in their business and personal life.  It is expected that anyone associated with help net will make associations that are positive to themselves and their community.  While helpfinder does not discriminate against religion or ethnicity, there are certain aspects of religions or subversive group associations which are not allowed as an IDA.  Any group or organization, no matter how loose, that performs any of the following are not permitted to be an IDA.

NOT PERMITTED-

  • personal association, or association with any person or group that is subversive in nature.
  • personal association, or association withany person or group who advocates the overthrow of the United States government.
  • personal association, or association withany person or group that promotes or participates in unlawful demonstrations.
  • personal association, or association withany person or group who discriminates and/or demonstrates against another person or group based on ethnicity or religions which promote the general well being of all people.
  • personal association, or association withany person who buys, sells, distributes, provides, uses or causes others to use non-prescription drugs; or buys, sells, distributes, provides, uses or causes others to use prescriptions drugs for use by anyone other than the person for whom the drugs were prescribed.  The term "drugs" also pertains to alcohol.
